Description

Dear viewer,

Well this is it. The animation is finished! Three and a half long months have come to a close. How do I feel?.......

Calm.

This project started as a dream. A dream to design something that was technically very challenging, something that I thought that I could never do, and something to memorialize events that shook the world.

After 9/11/01 I stopped creating artwork. I shut my studio down. And for 6 months I stopped creating. I stop making artwork. The beauty in the world for me was gone. I saw nothing beautiful and I saw no reason to start designing anything.

6 months later, I started slowly creating again starting with "Another life lost". Then I began to think about how I could mourn 9/11 in my own way. Animation in Memoriam was it. I had to design this to put the past in the past, and to help others remember 9/11 like it happened yesterday. The rest is already history.

Thousands of lives were taken that day. Innocent people that had no reason to die paid the sacrifice so that I would have the right to express how I feel in the freedom of my warm, safe home. So many others never made it home.

People just like me, my wife, my family, friends and co-workers never made it back to this place I am enjoying now.

I want to cry, I want to shed more tears and more emotion but I cannot. Maybe this is because this animation is complete and my mourning process is done. Maybe it is time for our entire country and world to mourn the tragic events that have changed all of us.

I want you to view this animation with an open mind and an open heart and let the events and the feelings of 9/11/01 flow back into your heart. Let your heart and your mind be sad. Let your soul be angered and terrified. That is what this was designed for. I want you to feel exactly like you did on September 11th, 2001.

I want you to remember what you were doing when you first learned of the attacks. I would like to you to remember how you felt as you saw for the first time those aircraft slamming into buildings and destroying the safety we all felt until September 11th, 2001.

I would like to thank you and everyone that has taken the time to download and view this animation. Your support for my work is more then any one artist could ask for. Thank you for supporting this animation and all of my work. All of my love to you and may God bless you.

To Tomorrow And Everyday That Follows God Bless you,
