Meet the Press


I am writing in response to the comments made by Kenneth Feinberg the head
of the September 11th victims compensation fund. I am truly, truly sickened
and saddened by Mr. Feinberg's position in the equal compensation
to domestic partners. When did one have to become 'eligible' for this
compensation? Isn't dying and leaving loved ones behind eligibility enough?
I sincerely hope that measures are taken to ensure that domestic partners
are entitled to the same benefits as our heterosexual counterparts, if not,
it would just go to show that the deaths of affected gay men and women do
not count for anything.
