I am writing regarding the blatant discrimination against gay/lesbian
Americans. I feel the partners of those killed on 9/11/01 are entitled to the
same compensation from the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund as
heterosexual Americans. These actions show a great lack of respect for those
who lost their lives.
While unity should be our main concern, these actions only serve to divide us
as a people. In order for Americans to stand strong and heal, we must be
treated fairly and equally!
