Outraged about 9/11 Fund
I am very disappointed, actually outraged, that the 9/11 fund will not
provide the same benefits to gay and lesbian partners of 9/11 heroes and
victims as those provided to the heterosexual spouses of others. When we
find out that Illegal Aliens will receive benefits, this raises concerns
about the purpose of the fund.
Certainly we understand that families will benefit more than a single
spouse/partner, but every partnership should be respected and support
provided to all individuals who were adversely affected by 9/11.
