Compensation Fairness
I am extremely dismayed that gay and lesbian partners of those
who died on September 11 are not automatically going to
receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses. This is grossly unfair
and flies in the face of the unity created in our country by the events of
9/11. I urge that this decision be changed to include compensation for gay
& lesbian partners.
