To the committee for the Victim Compensation Fund for 9-11 families:

I am absolutely outraged that you consider partners of gay/lesbian
couples not to be equal to the partners in heterosexual relationships and
thereby will be denied any of the funds that have been collected for the
families of the victims of the 9-11 attacks.
I suspect you weren't forthcoming with your narrow-minded, bigoted policy
because you knew it would cut back on contributions. Had I known I would
have looked elsewhere to donate my money.
Partners and families of gay and lesbians have no less loss or grief than
heterosexuals, and for you to deny them money that was contributed in
good faith only wounds them a second time.
I would respectfully request that you re-think your distribution policy
of the money collected for these families to include ALL families.
