To whom it may concern;

I write today to express my deep disagreement with the stated policy of September 11th Victim's Compensation Fund of not providing gay and lesbian partners of attack victims with the same compensation as heterosexual spouses.

The Fund should use the same honesty and concern for the well-being of all people that was used to decide that all families of illegal immigrant victims deserved the same respect and compensation as families of Americans who died. 

The fierce and remorseless wave of destruction that took so many people from us did not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, nationality, religion, or sexual orientation. In compensating those effected, the US government should not discriminate either.
