Partners of gay 9-11 victims are Americans too!


I think it's reprehensible that our government is discriminating against gay American citizens by denying the partners of gay 9-11 victims compensation. It is particularly abhorrent to me that gays are being singled out for this discrimination when the government has chosen to "bend the rules" for other NON-Americans, like illegal aliens. I'm glad the illegal aliens are being compensated, but why should gays who ARE tax-paying American citizens be overlooked and denied rightful compensation?

Please, I beg you, reconsider the fund's position on this to ensure that all Americans are compensated at this tragic time. Thank you for your consideration.
