American Heroes

IN MEMORY OF:

American heroes - would they have committed the same acts of bravery if they
would have known their partners and friends would be discriminated against
by the very country they defended? I am sure they would have. By my
definition a hero is just despite the circumstances. Feinberg degrades the
American spirit and the power of our united strength. I am sure the
terrorists would be pleased to know such internal forces are at work to
divide us.

I personally donated money to the 911 fund on at least four occasions. My
heart was filled with empathy for the victims and I felt a strong sense of
pride in our country as I contributed. I am utterly disgusted at Feinberg's
actions. I feel as if he is attempting to discommunicate the US gay
community from America as a whole, as if we are not really citizens just a
disposable subculture that will just disappear. I am here to tell him that
this American cannot be broken and I will not just go away.
