Dear Mr. Zwick:
I hope the e-mail message I received today, stating that gay and lesbian
partners of those who died on September 11 are not automatically going to
receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses, is in error. If the
message is indeed true, this is a total outrage. Such discrimination makes no
sense at all.

The dollars we Americans sent for the relief of our fellow citizens in their
tragic loss were sent with love and concern for ALL fellow citizens, not just
those of specific ethnic heritage or specific sexual orientation, i.e.
heterosexual. I submit my protest to this unfair, un-American, un-patriotic
discriminatory stance
