it is un-American to discriminate

It is my understanding that the partners of Gay men and women who died as heroes in the 9/11 disaster will not be eligible for the same compensation as straights. Even the survivors of illegal aliens are afforded these benefits. This is America and the even was a test of our resolution that all men/women are created equal. It seems to me that to discriminate against one specific group is un-American.
It is known that the 6'5" soccer player from San Francisco was a Gay man who helped bring down the plane that was headed for the Capital building in Washington. Should people like him just sit back and let what ever is going to happen, happen because he is Gay.
Gays do not ask for special treatment only equality under our constitution.

Sincerely yours
