Dear Mr. Zwick,

I urge the justice department to follow the lead of the New York governor
George Pataki in including domestic partners of gay and lesbian victims of
the September 11th tragedy to the same privileges and benefits afforded to
other family members. Now more than ever we need have seen how our very
diverse society has pulled together to support one another. All Americans,
regardless of their race, religion or sexual orientation, are in this
together and should all be treated fairly and equitably, now and always.
